Weimaraner Club of America (WCA) Blue Ribbon Edition

The WCA annually publishes the June Blue Ribbon Edition magazine. With planning and great help from the Bravo Team, Handlers Michael Stone and Collen Stone, Breeder Linda Hartheimer, Photog and graphic designer, talented SaraRenee, and photo shoots with Bravo himself, we are pleased to present the Bravo Pages from the 2012 WCA Blue Ribbon Edition.

These photos and designs represent the fun, success, friendships and collaboration we had during a very successful Team Bravo year, 2012.

Show Circuit - May 26 - June 10, 2012 - 11 Shows, 12 Ribbons

Bravo won Best of Breed 3 days at Hangtown Kennel Club and in addition won a Sporting Group 3.
The following weekend, Bravo won Best of Breed 3 days at Gridley CA shows and a Best Opposite.
This weekend, Bravo went Grand Champion Select at majors each day.
Bravo's "winnings" are proudly displayed by no other than Bravo himself. 

 Lots of ribbons, a towel, backpack and Sporting Group 3 medallion and yellow ribbon.

 Final show day today was hot at WoofStock, Vallejo, CA.  Bravo getting groomed by Amanda.

BRAVO IS NOW A BRONZE GRAND CHAMPION!

3 BEST OF BREEDS, MAY 31, JUNE 1 & 3, 2012 BUTTE AND SHASTA COUNTY KENNEL CLUBS, GRIDLEY, CA

Bravo is on the show circuit and has won Best of Breed in tough competition in 6 of the 7 shows plus a Sporting Group 3 on the first day of the circuit.

When not traveling with handlers Michael Stone and Collen Stone and with Alisa Syar, Bravo is kenneled at Camp Stone, very much like a fine show dog boarding school.  There Bravo is with other show dogs, mainly Alaskan Malamutes.  He romps and plays (in adjoining runs) with his favorite young champion Malamute, "Paws".  During his stay at Camp Stone, Bravo has become a favorite with the staff.  He's known as "very sweet, affectionate, and quite the out-going personality".  In fact, Bravo has made the fastest progress in the shortest time of any show dog at Camp Stone.

Bravo's progress translates directly into the show ring.  He is more confident and has more presence in the ring in addition to his great elegance, balance and superb movement evidenced by his strong reach and drive. Yes, our boy is maturing and growing into quite a fine Special.

Bravo is now back at Camp Stone and then off to "WoofStock," 4 days of shows in Vallejo, CA.

We're very proud of Bravo and know that he's now achieving a new level of show dog performance.  Thanks to Camp Stone, handlers Michael and Collen, Alisa and his Team back home - Linda Hartheimer in New Jersey, SaraRenee in Indiana and his home front at Crescent Kennels in California, Bravo is doing it all.

SPORTING GROUP 3 and 3 BEST OF BREEDS, May 26, 27 & 28, 2012. Hangtown Kennel Club, Placerville, CA

Bravo started his 14 days on the dog show circuit with handlers Michael Stone and Collen Stone with 3 Best of Breed wins and a Sporting Group III win. Collen Stone handled Bravo to the Sporting Group III win defeating 114 dogs! 

We're very thrilled that our Bravo is True to His Name!

Lucky Guy when SaraRenee visited from Muncie, Indiana to photograph Bravo for his ad portfolio.

Bravo won three Best of Breeds at the Vallejo Dog Shows and hosted Sara at the beach, Stanford University, and in his yard.
